Before coming to Milken Community High School, Ms. Iversen was the athletic director at Old Lyme, CT for 21 years. In Old Lyme, aside from teaching physical education, she also coached middle school field hockey, softball, and soccer as well as high school basketball and softball.

At Milken Community High School, Coach Iversen is the Associate Athletic Director and Physical Education Department Chair. She also coaches the High School Girls Varsity Basketball Team. The basketball team has won the league 7 out of the last 8 years. She has been named by the coaches in her league as the "Coach of the Year" the last 7 years. Coach Iversen has also coached girls basketball, boys baseball and co-ed swimming on the middle school level. She also serves as a tenth grade advisor.
Coach Iversen's interest outside of teaching include traveling, reading and participating in sports. She is orginally from Waterford, Connecticut.
