 Dori Kulwin received her Bachelor's of Fine Arts degree from San Diego State University. She taught in public schools for five years before joining the Stephen Wise community, where she instructed grades six through eight.
Ms. Kulwin took a hiatus from teaching for twelve years to head her own business, which became a successsful creative endeavor, specializing in custom design murals in homes and business.
In 1990, Ms Kulwin developed the art program and built the Visual Arts Department as Department Chair at Milken Community High School. Ms. Kulwin believes that all students have the ability to create when guided and motivated in an inspiring environment. As sponsor of the National Art Honor Society, Ms. Kulwin instills a committment in her students to use their creative talents towards community service as well as building art awareness in the school.
Her husband, two grown daughters, and a golden retriever named Roxie, complete her very satisfied life.
