For Mr. George, learning is not just about the acquisition of knowledge, it's about the practical applications of knowledge as well. This philosophy has been Mr. George's guiding principle as an educator since he began his teaching career.
Before coming to Milken in August of 2008, Mr. George taught for the Los Angeles Unified School District. His public school teaching experience included stints at both Crenshaw High School and Centennial College Preparatory Academy.
In his classes, Mr. George emphasizes a logical, methodical approach to problem-solving and experimentation. By training his students to collect solid evidence, make logical connections, and draw sound conclusions, he hopes to aid in the development of citizens who are curious, thoughtful, and not prone to impulsive decision making.
