Born and raised in southeastern Massachusetts, Mr. Cassie studied History and Classics at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and earned a master's degree in History from Ohio State University. At Milken, Mr. Cassie has been a teacher of English, Latin and History; he also served as Dean for the class of 2005.
At present he is Assistant Head of School and is the chair of the department of Social Sciences.
Mr. Cassie is in his first year as a graduate student in the Educational Leadership Program at UCLA.
Mr. Cassie enjoys traveling, gardening, modernist architecture and design, folk and outsider art, bowling, reading, writing and game shows. He lives with his family in Simi Valley.
