Lisa Steenport received her Bachelor’s Degree in Theology from Ambassador College and her Master’s Degree in Physical Education from California State University, Los Angeles. She has been teaching and coaching at Milken Community High School since 1996 and divides her time teaching Physical Education at both the Middle and Upper school.
Ms. Steenport is the Athletic Director for the Middle School and Head Girls’ Varsity Volleyball Coach and Program Director at the Upper School. She also serves as an eleventh grade advisor. Ms. Steenport’s greatest joy as a teacher is helping students improve and master skills. Ms. Steenport’s interest outside of teaching include camping, traveling, playing golf, spending time with family/friends, competing in sports and coaching club volleyball. She is originally from Wisconsin and currently resides in Pasadena.
