Mr. Lieb is very excited to be a part of Milken faculty for the fifth year. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biology from CSU Northridge.
Prior to joining Milken community, Mr. Lieb’s carreer was focused on Biotech industry as well as academic research in human molecular genetics. Mr. Lieb teaches Biology Honors courses as well as directing student's independent research efforts. These projects are in collaboration with Drs. Pete Edmunds and Sean Murray from CSU Northridge. Dr. Edmunds work is focused on long term monitoring of coral reef communities in the Carribean and South Pacific, while Dr. Murray studies caulobacter, a common microorganism found in our habitat.
Mr. Lieb was born in Moscow, Russia, and immigrated with his family to the United States in 1992. For the past 16 years Mr. Lieb has been a happy Los Angeles resident, appreciative of a wonderfully heterogeneous environment of the city and hoping one day to start the day off skiing fresh powder on the slopes of Mt. Baldy and finishing it by surfing the beaches of South Bay.
