 Summer Bloom is beginning her sixth year at Milken Community High School and serves as the School’s Coordinator of Sport Science and Medicine. Ms. Bloom previously worked for the American Basketball Association’s Orange County Buzz franchise as their Head Athletic Trainer. Prior to this, she worked as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at Arizona State University, an athletic trainer for the Summer Pro League held in Long Beach, California, Nike Basketball, the U.S. Athletic Training Center,
and the Los Angeles Pierce College.
Ms. Bloom is an avid basketball fan who received her BS in Kinesiology from California State University, Northridge and completed graduate work at Arizona State University. She is a certified in Athletic Training (NATA), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Performance Enhancement Specialist (NASM-PES), as well as a CPR instructor through the American Heart Association.
