Welcome to the Senior Seminar on Israel website.
Senior Seminar aims to help students develop a rich understanding of the history, politics, economics, and culture of modern Israel. Students will learn to discuss and critique a variety of perspectives on issues that confront Israel today and will inspire students to continue to learn about Israel and strengthen their personal connection to the Jewish state after they graduate. Primary source documents, Israeli literature and music, geography, demographics, and film will be used to promote thoughtful questions, dialogue, debate, as well as written and oral expression in students. Senior Seminar will also be a vehicle for students to refine their ability to dissect arguments, develop media literacy, understand bias, and become informed Jewish leaders.
